BIO (ENG)

Angello was born in Bogota, Colombia, and studied filmmaking at ESCAC in Barcelona. He works as a director and cinematographer, managing narrative, documentary, and commercial projects. As a cinematographer, Angello has worked on eight feature films shot in Colombia, Mexico, India, Spain, Peru, and Chile. His work has been featured at festivals such as Berlinale, Venice, Sundance, and Toronto IFF. His latest film, THE MYSTERIOUS GAZE OF THE FLAMINGO will have it’s world premiere at the 78th Cannes IFF in the Un Certain Regard section. Angello is an active member of the Colombian Association of Cinematographers (ADFC) and was a Berlinale Talents Alumni in 2020.
